A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I worked half a day, then had lunch in a little church park down from the office. It was a beautiful day and the trees were in full bloom. Yellow daffodils smiled up at me and the wind blew my hair back from my face. I felt free from grief and alive for the first time in months. Now, I sit in the sunshine and watch the hummingbird come and go. He paused in mid air, but I didn’t have my camera handy. He was beautiful.
