Back in the day, it was incredibly common to spend most, if not all of the day in nature: be it in a field, river or forest most of our ancestors would enjoy at least a couple of hours a day out in the air, under the Sun. However, the stress of modern life has imposed on us a lifestyle that doesn’t allow time for nature walks, which is throwing our bodies into disarray.

Enjoying nature has proven benefits: studies have demonstrated that taking walks in the forest, can decrease your cortisol levels by 13% when compared to walks in a city. That is not the only benefit nature bathing has: it has also been linked to happiness and mental wellbeing, creativity, and even physical benefits such as lower blood pressure.

All in all, you should be getting some time out in the forest on the regular!
