A long day draws to a close. It was a good day. I started the day down at the waterfront watching The Freeze Feast, put on by Dr. Brian Call. I was surprised at the number of people who went into the cold river. The outside temperature was 45. From there, I walked the craft show in Odell and saw local crafts and quilts. A short drive took me back home and a visit to the Parkdall Rummage sale. There were the treasures. For five dollars, I got a figurines,  a bracelet and a Kpod holder. I walked the small town area and smelled a fragrance from my past. Upon inquiring,  they were magnolia trees in bloom.  They didn’t look like our magnolias, but the fragrance was a beautiful reminder of home. God is good.
